Since the start of their career in 1999, Quebecers Simple Plan have always had a special place in the pop punk landscape. Even more so when their debut album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls catapulted them into the spotlight in 2002: 4 million copies sold worldwide and hits like I'd do Anything, Addicted and I'm Just a Kid. 2 years later, they did it again with Still Not Gettin' Any and their ultra-famous single Welcome To My Life, which everyone has hummed at least once in their lives.

With incredible energy, Pierre Bouvier, Jeff Stinco, Sébastien Lebfevre and Chuck Comeau even performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. They recently created a buzz by launching the TikTok #ImJustAKid challenge, which has generated over 3.4 million videos! Will Smith, Ed Sheeran and Usher even took part.

Simple Plan's popularity is undeniable, but that doesn't mean they've lost touch with their fans - quite the opposite, in fact. With their enthusiasm still intact, the Canadians are still giving their all to please their fans, while trying out new things. The proof is in Harder Than It Looks, their sixth self-produced album released in 2022, which adopts a more heterogeneous sound, oscillating between alternative rock and melodic power pop.
