Five years on from the release of their last studio album, British progressive metal titans TesseracT have reached the most important and creative moment of their career to date. Formed in 2003, TesseracT are rightly regarded as a pioneering band. Since dazzling the world with their debut album 'One' in 2011, they have spearheaded a uniquely adventurous and creative movement that has expanded the vocabulary of metal beyond measure. Although regularly credited as instigators of the 'djent' sub-genre, the British five-piece have long since transcended those associations and are now widely recognised as one of the most genuinely progressive and unique bands on the planet. From the majestic intricacies of 2013's 'One' and the bittersweet, melodic crunch of 'Altered State', to the experimental brilliance of 'Polaris' and the ruthless tech-trip of 2018's 'Sonder', TesseracT have consistently set themselves apart from the competition, while forging a musical and lyrical world of their own. In the meantime, they have established themselves as a powerful live band, with countless acclaimed concerts and festival appearances on several continents.

Fast forward to 2023: Daniel Tompkins (vocals), Acle Kahney (guitar), James Monteith (guitar), Amos Williams (bass) and Jay Postones (drums) have completed writing their fifth album. TesseracT are back with a collection of hypnotic, idiosyncratic new music.
